Perfect Sunset Seat

March 2021 - Taken on the evening after the spring equinox. Lundy is a perfect barometer because at spring and autumn equinox the sun will set directly over the middle of the island when viewed from here, then continue to the right (summer) or left (winter). I discovered this new bench for the first time on a walk with my dogs. It struck me what a perfect place it was to enjoy both spring and summer sunsets and the view over Morte Point. So, when you look at this picture, just imagine you’re sat here :-)
