Summer Lights - Woolacombe

This series of pictures was taken during the August bank holiday weekend of 2020, the Sunday and Monday evenings.  I had it in mind for a while to capture this type of image from the highest part of Baggy Point, plus I knew with a very busy Bank Holiday village coupled with the ultra clear conditions that these evening looked to be perfect.

Equipped with my zoom lens, I waited until after the sun had set and the lights started to illuminate the village.  These were taken with a very slow shutter speed of about 20 to 30 seconds which made the wonderful car light trails.

The first image was taken on the Sunday evening when the sea was slightly less calm.  The second image on the Monday evening and the lights can be seen much more reflecting from the water's surface.

Both images are immensely sharp and show off the amazing detail of this beautiful place at dusk.  They can be made into wall-art that really has the WOW factor!

I NOW ONLY OFFER THIS PRINT AS A WHITEWALL PRODUCED PHOTO METALLIC HD VERSION.  THEREFORE THE COST IS SLIGHTLY HIGHER, BUT IT MAKES A TRULY STUNNING PRINT.  FIND OUT MORE HERE

Watch the video to get a full feel of the high resolution  and detail included in these images.

Since the original image was taken, I have often thought that there was one thing missing from the picture that would really add something if it was there.  I have therefore a new image with the feature added which can be seen at the bottom of this page, can you see what it is?
