Turquoise Summer Vibes - Woolacombe
July 2024 - I bought my ‘Flying Camera’ a few months ago specifically because it had 3 lenses that were perfect for catching completely different perspectives from the sky. With a standard lens, this picture would have been too much beach and not show the wonderful detail in all areas of this scene.
Flying out from between Barricane and Combesgate, I wanted to get to this position to capture the lines of the waves and the sunlight catching them. I also wanted to capture a broad view of the village and beach at low tide.
The image is printed on Canson Fine Art Photo Paper and is mounted on adhesive board to ensure it does not crinkle over time. It is then finally secured in a wood frame behind 2mm UV100 Gallery Plexiglas Anti-Reflective Acrylic Glazing.
The print itself is 760x300mm.
